An exciting feature of the new Johnstown Y is its extensive aquatics area. Packed with activities for the whole family, the indoor activity pool area features warmer water temperature for leisurely lap swimming, swim lessons and a variety of water exercise classes. More fun awaits with the lazy river and an amazing giant slide. Even the youngest members can enjoy the activity pool, thanks to its zero-depth splash feature. For the more competitive swimmer, the 25-yard indoor competitive lap pool offers six lanes and two diving boards. Members can top off the day of water exercise with a visit to the sauna and steam room.
Water safety has always been a priority at the YMCA, and we offer swim lessons for all ages.
