With tropical butterflies, thousands of insects, and many more exotic animals, the Butterfly Pavilion offers something for all ages. Classes and special events are offered monthly.
There is so much to see at the Children’s Museum you will want to go back again and again! Exhibits include: the Center for the Young Child, Joy Park, Bubbles, and the Art Studio, just to name a few.
Over 100 engines, cabooses, and coaches spread out over 15 acres makes for a full day of fun for the train lovers in the family. Ride the train loop, watch the miniature trains carve through a mini landscape, and best of all – explore the inside of trains new and old.
With a location in Denver and another at Chatfield Farms, families can view native plants of Colorado and beyond. Special events include: yoga at the gardens, a summer concert series, and workshops just for kids.
Colorado’s rich history of firefighters over the past century is displayed in pictures, uniforms, and equipment. There are plenty of educational and fun activities for kids including: dress up, learning about safe evacuations, and pretending to put out fires in a real fire truck.
